Picture Adventure

Who knew that such art could be found on a garbage can!

This is a wall that Jen and I got excited about! Such an amazing purple and I do think she took the same picture. Great minds think alike!

Where is this hand reaching to?

This last sunny Saturday I joined Jen in a photo adventure of Bellingham. (sans kids!) It was a day of good conversation and finding beauty in places no one bothers to look at anymore. I pray that these photos will inspire you to look closer at the world around to find the beauty in the forgotten. Just like God does for us!

Contagious Interest in Rust

Rusty chains were a weakness for me. I don't really know why but they are beautiful.

Paint chipping presents interesting textures and patterns. I do believe Je was equally enthralled with this area too and she took similar pictures of this wall.

This was a play on color saturation thanks to Jen who downloaded a new program for me to play with. It's way to addicting!

Hanging out with Jen, who is able to find beauty in all rusty things, caused a contagious reaction in me to also take pictures of rusty beauty! Maybe it's because I can relate to rusty beauty in myself. You have to look hard to see it!

No more comments

Due to strange people leaving virus's on my comments so that when I read my comments I inadvertantly open them, I have had to eliminate the comments section. I hate when people ruin a good thing >:( So if you would like to comment on my pictures you can email me.
Thank you for taking the time to look at them. I have always enjoyed reading your comments!

My friend Jen unknowingly reminded me of something that I have always known but haven't let it sink in till now. She reminded me that you can find beauty in anything. What a thing to remember when it seems as though little beauty is left. God tells us that over and over and He is the center of creation and since we are created from His image it is only fitting that we should have the desire to create and to see the beauty of creation no matter where we are.
