Farmers Market

Today was the first time I have ever been to the new remodeled farmers market. It was fun and really overwhelming with the amount of people milling about. I didn't get as many photos as I had anticipated but I think I did okay. I may have to go with my friend Jen sometime to get pointers!
I loved the colorful hula-hoops that hung together to create a picture that reminds me of something out of either Wizard of Oz or Willy Wonka!
One of the best parts of the Market are the street musicians. This man made me think of the 1800's playing a jig for grand kids or something.

I LOVE to hear a cello and violin and so this was a nice surprise around the corner. The girls were so good!

Isaiah's First Shoot

Yesterday I took my son on a photo walk-about around our neighborhood. He got so into taking pictures that he took over 120 pictures! I believe that I have given him the picture bug now! All these pictures in this post are all done on his own without me telling him what to snap! He's a natural! and he's only 8!

Butterfly House

The best part of our trip to Seattle was the butterfly house at the Science Center. It was amzing to be able to take pictures of butterflies and plant life that aren't native to this place!

Seattle Adventure

Today we went to Seattle and enjoyed all the usual sites that an out-of-towner has to see. We took in the Science center and walked around afterward. While the rain poured buckets here in Bellingham it was sunny and sort of warm. Yeah! Here is a twist to the usual pictures of the Space Needle. Millions of pics have been taken of the Space needle and I bet every one of them is different.
The Science center has lots of neat things to snap!
I call this "Past/Present. Usually the past is shadowed by the future but in this case it's a foreshadow of the future.
I call this "Creepy Carnival" Kinda like a horror show!
You never know what is going to pop out in a "Creepy Carnival"!

My peaceful drive about!

Here are a few pictures that I took on my drive-about today that allowed me some peace and quiet. I thought these flags were flying their hardest to show their pride!
This reminds me of a Halloween night all spooky and creepy!
This water drop was about to take a very long plunge!
St. Pauls Episcopal was the subject for me today. I love the old church structures. I wish I could travel to creat cathedrals in Europe but I guess this will have to do!
This echos with the sounds of the past but reminds us to stop and praise the One who created all things!
I wanted to capture Hillcrest Chapel with it's most recognizable art!

My First Creepy House!

Well, I have finally crossed the threshold of the "creepy house" adventures. I found this house on the side of Old Fairhaven parkway and the funny thing is that it has a for sale sign. I was not courageous enough to venture into the several sheds that graced the property. There was a door that was open and a staircase that led into doom, yet again, not courageous enough!
This was a little bit of beauty on a lot of creepy. I could see this being a focal point in a horror movie!
A trace of what used to be.
Waiting for the mail comfortably!

I loved how this space heater looks like it may have at one time been heaved at someone. I'm guessing a housewife angry at the husband for coming home too late and a few dollars short!
